Those, if successful, will increase affinity with the girl.
Watch for actions with a question mark (?) in their name. Note that none of this interferes with the outcomes of original story opportunities, but it is easier to get more affinity if already having some romance points, and those are easiest to get by doing opportunities from the original story.
And, with a higher affinity with them, you will be able to do a lot of lewd stuff.
